About the League

The League of Jewish Women is the leading national voluntary Jewish women's service organisation in Great Britain. Affiliated to more than 30 other national and international organisations, membership is open to all Jewish women.

League structure

The League's work is steered by its Council which meets quarterly and comprises the Executive together with fifteen elected members. The Executive consists of the five honorary officers:

Also reporting to the Executive are the National Welfare Officer, the Area Liaison Officers and Chairmen of Executive Sub-Committees:

The North West Region of the League runs independently and has its own Council and Chairman, currently Averill Moore.
