We are a young group for Jewish mums (& dads too), that gives Jewish mums an opportunity to organise events, which will celebrate and introduce our children to Jewish culture and festivals, in a social and fun way that is not linked to a synagogue.  

We are an inclusive group with no exclusion criteria for joining. Whilst we are associated with LJW welfare objectives, we are sensitive to work versus life pressures and realise that many mums, do not have a lot of time to spare.

Our bimonthly play mornings are held in a residential home for the elderly giving an opportunity for different age groups to interact. We started a baby clothes and toy bank which will be given to needy Jewish families in Israel and Eastern Europe. The JMums buddy scheme provides support for new mums.
 
On the social side, we organise family events and are keen to include dads, so these are held on Sundays and often include crafts, story-telling, music and refreshments. We meet in the evenings, to socialise without the mayhem of the kids and have held meetings focussed on pampering and fashion and first aid, for instance.
